Peter Mueller
Music Director & Conductor
Peter Mueller currently works as an Adjunct Instructor and Staff Accompanist for Yavapai College. Prior to moving to Prescott, he taught music theory, music appreciation, world music, counterpoint, and applied trombone at the University of West Georgia and the University of Arizona. Mueller’s educational background includes a BA in Music Education from Baldwin-Wallace University, an MM from Indiana University, and an MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently working on his PhD Dissertation in Music Theory at the University of Arizona. In 2015, he presented papers about formal structures in Stravinsky’s music at three regional chapters of the Society for Music Theory. Mueller enjoys performing with the Prescott Pops, and several ensembles at Yavapai College, and has performed with the PCO prior to accepting his position as the orchestra’s Music Director & Conductor.

John Agan
Treasurer
John went to school at Cal Poly University in Pomona and San Luis Obispo, California, and the National School of Real Estate Finance, Ohio State University. He worked as the Regional Vice President of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Sacramento, California and the Regional Vice President of CrossLand Mortgage Company in Dewey, Arizona. In his retirement, he is the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Prescott Pops Symphony, Prescott Chamber Orchestra, Prescott Chorale, and the Prescott Valley Early Bird Lions Club and Foundation.

Fran Willes
Secretary
Fran completed a BA degree in a specialized Business, Communications, and Psychology curriculum and a MEd in Educational Technology from Arizona State University. Retiring as the manager of staff training, education and organizational development at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Fran worked with Yavapai College designing and delivering skills-based training to Prescott-area businesses. Fran currently serves on the boards of both the Prescott Chamber Orchestra and the Prescott Pops Symphony, and runs the annual Pops Music Memory children’s concert.

Joe Cotten
Marketing & Public Relations
Following graduation from Mississippi State University with a degree in electrical engineering, Joe was employed in the research division of a large public utility and later worked as a marketing specialist with Honeywell Information Systems and the General Electric Corporation. A lifelong clarinetist, Joe performs with the New Horizons Senior Band in Mesa and with the Central Arizona Concert Band in Prescott.
